Jim Jupp
I’ve always loved photography and have been a freelance photojournalist since 2005. Although my work is published in a variety of magazines, I primarily work for specialist motoring titles including MiniWorld, VolksWorld and VolksWorld Camper & Bus.
I am very versatile and like variety in my work so one day I could be photographing a celebrity and the next fixing an engine for a how-to article.
I'm also available for long-term projects and one-shot magazines. I was the technical editor on Keeping Your Mini Alive 6 and took all photos and wrote all copy. I'm quite prepared to get my hands dirty and I’m an amateur car mechanic and welder in my spare time. I also have experience of building cars from scratch.
My work has been published in a number of magazines including VolksWorld, VolksWorld Camper & Bus, MiniWorld, Motor Caravan, Mountain Bike Rider and Model Collector.
I am based in West Sussex and am happy to travel. I have been commissioned to do shoots in Japan, Germany and Australia.
I also have 22 years of experience in IT, working for a global bank, including 10 years in web application development.
A little bit about me...
